A few words about the house
This fully restored 17th century mansion with its heated pool and pétanque playing area is both spacious and welcoming. It can sleep 12 people (three 160cm double beds, two 140cm double beds and one 140cm sofa bed). Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with WC, washbasin(s) and shower or tub. The huge living room with its magnificent stone fireplace provides space for large gatherings and opens onto a fully equipped modern kitchen.
The 12m x 6m (72sq.m.) swimming pool is treated with a chlorine-free salt electrolysis system and is surrounded by an over 100sq.m. deck with deck chairs, coffee tables and lounge chairs. A bathroom with washbasin, WC and shower located near the pool can be accessed from outside. The pétanque terrain features lights enabling late evening play. After dusk, the outside lighting gives a peerless charm to the gardens. The parking area can easily accommodate six vehicles.
Souyri, a tranquil village near Rodez, is well off the main highways. The Rodez-Aveyron airport offers flights to Paris, Brussels/Charleroi, Dublin and London/Stansted, yet without generating any noise pollution.
The house is ideally situated as a base for visiting the main tourist attractions of the Midi-Pyrenees region.
